We believe Christians are to be the hands and feet of Jesus and show the love of God to those around us, here in Corvallis and around the world.
We strive to do this in the way we minister to our own church family and those who come visit us looking for a church home. We also participate in a number of local outreach efforts to spread God's love throughout Corvallis, the Northwest and our nation. And we encourage personal involvement in reaching the world for Christ through numerous mission trips abroad to destinations such as Japan, Tanzania, Israel and Mexico over the years. We are currently focused on three villages in the Andes Mountains of Peru. Understanding we can't always go ourselves, we gladly funnel 12.5 percent of our total undesignated receipts through the Cooperative Program of the Southern Baptist Convention to help support more than 9,400 missionaries across the United States, North America and the world. We also participate in three annual mission offerings -- the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering, the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering and the Sylvia Wilson Mission Offering which go directly to international, American and Northwest mission efforts, respectively.
